This Darkness Falls I was staging an escape when you caught my arm, And said: Let's blow the doors off the 21st centaury. I learned astonishment that night. But now it all seems clearer like something I once knew, We have to burn a candle as this darkness falls. This darkness falls, this darkness falls, This darkness falls around. I was hiding in the dark when your call came through, All twinkling lights and a telephone noise your voice right next to me. Then a trick of the lights said: Goodbye my dear. And I think about the good times and what we've all been through, We have to light a candle as this darkness falls. This darkness falls, this darkness falls, as we sleep, This darkness falls around. Once you took my hand and laughed then said: Let's run, To a place where we are always free. So now I take the shutters down at night. But time won't run backwards control zee undo. We burn this damn candle down as the darkness falls. This darkness falls, this darkness falls, as we sleep. This darkness falls as we sleep. Darkness falls around, darkness falls around, As we sleep, as we sleep, as we sleep, as we sleep. Henry Sparks © 2021

Visions of Eden In this world of chaos Time out of mind In this hell we have created In the name of mankind And I want to swim with the Dolphins I want to sail this crazy sea Sing from tree to tree With leaves where leaves should be But that's all just the dream in my heart It is these visions of Eden that stop me going insane It is these visions of Eden that help me conquer pain It is these visions of Eden that help me get up again We have driven down the road Which every body knows It's a one way ticket To the land where nothing grows And we have our new heroin We have our new dearth And all the former reason Is gone with the earth And I want to swim with the Dolphins I want to sail this crazy sea Sing from tree to tree With leaves where leaves should be But that's all just the dream in my heart It is these visions of Eden that stop me going insane It is these visions of Eden that help me conquer pain It is these visions of Eden that help me get up again Henry Sparks 1989

Where is our city? Where is our king? Where hangs the star on the best motel The towers of gold and money they all had their day We move without hope or faith in anything In the dawn it was clear that no one enters in And none of our dreams worked out We do not believe anymore And they were the last To believe in their dreams Where is our city and where is our king And who would have thought we would ever say that thing And who stole our water and who killed the air And who would have thought that no one really cares And none of our dreams worked out We do not believe anymore And they were the last To believe in their dreams But nothing worked out We do not believe anymore I do not believe anymore I do not believe anymore © Henry Sparks 2022
